Hong)AP - Arizona is preparing to ask an appeals court to lift a judge's ruling that put most of the state's immigration law on hold in a key first-round victory for the federal government in a fight that may go to the U.S. Supreme Court.



2nd US Navy sailor's body recovered in Afghanistan (AP)

This photo, displayed on a leaflet that was distributed by the U.S. military to civilians in Logar province, east of Kabul, Afghanistan, on July 25, 2010  shows a missing U.S. Navy sailor. The Navy identified the missing sailor as Petty Officer 3rd Class Jarod Newlove, a 25-year-old from the Seattle area. The Pentagon lists Newlove as 'whereabouts unknown,' and did not confirm he was captured. Another service member who went missing with Newlove was identified as Petty Officer 2nd Class Justin McNeley — a 30-year-old father of two from Wheatridge, Colorado. NATO recovered his body Sunday.
